Full sun location and well-drained soil.  This plant goes completely dormant in the winter.    
Light: Sunny, near a window    
Water: Keep soil moderately moist in spring and summer, but reduce watering in fall and especially winter when the plant is dormant.    
Temperature: 60F - 90F Do not expose to below 60F.    
Fertilize: Once per month when the plant is actively growing. Do not feed the desert rose during winter.   Precautions: Dogbane family; sap is poisonous
